Default Outdoor off road tracks near Arlington, VA?

I'm relocating to Arlington, VA and I need to know where the nearest outdoor off road tracks are? I run 1/8 scale buggy and 1/10 buggy. Thanks

On a somewhat related note, are there any tracks north of DC? I recently relocated as well and I haven't found anything around the Rockville/Silver Spring area just north and west of DC. Fredricksburg seems like a bit too far of a drive for me for an "all the time" racing place.

There is indoor/carpet off road at The Track, in Gaithersburg (I think, just next to Rockville) and I believe there is some outdoor off road just around the beltway in Pasadena, Md. but don't quote me on that, been years since I lived there, just heard through the grapevine.

Other than The Track, you won't likely find off road very close to the DC area, land is too expensive/valuable.

I talked to the track owner. Nice guy. I think I've found a reason to tow my Pit trailer with me when I make the move. Now I got to find a place to store the damn thing.

Thanks for the info, Davidka! I knew it would be tough to find an offroad track around here, but driving an hour or more to race isn't something I can do all the time.

Default Mid Atlantic Offroad Series

If you can travel once a month, we run a summer series hitting five of the Mid Atlantic tracks. More info can be found here: http://www.roarregion2racing.com

In addition, the ROAR Off-Road Fuel Nationals are on the east coast this year. It's all listed under the track info page.
