Aaron, How long have your draked edition engines been lasting. Mine only lasted 1.5 gallons and I think that is a short life for a engine. All of my previous engines have lasted until around 4-5 gallons. Just curious how yours have lasted. It was never run too hot and always with a clean air filter.

Aaron-What are your thoughts on the original Drake& Draked edition trinity .12? (The most recent one prior to the "platinum editions")

rgb - I've had some of the standard Drake Edition motors expire kinda quickly compared to some of the italian motors. I can usually get about 2-3 gallons through them before they start to run low on compression.
Punched - They're the same engine. The "Draked" edition engines are blue-printed, ported, sealed, and checked by Adam in his garage...I'm not kidding! In my opinion, they're worth the extra money.

I haven't had the chance to run one of the Platinum engines yet, especially the production engines. I know what they are and what to expect from them though.

Aaron-It's mac, fyi. I was talking about the original draked series (black cooling head). Was that the same one you were talking about in your reply?

These motors are Sirio based correct?
#24
No...the standard Drake Edition engines are made by Toki's. The Platinum Edition engines are italian, but not Sirio.
