Default Gear Ratio Question for tc6.2

I am setting up my tc6.2 for foam tire, 21.5 blinky and was wondering what is a good starting point for the final drive ratio or roll out.

I ran a FDR of 3.5 to 3.8 in my TC6.2 with excellent results. My track was a bit small so you might be able to go even lower on a larger open track. This was indoors on the older gray carpet.

When you say 3.5 to 3.8, is that at the spur and pinion only or are figuring the internal gear ratio to get to 3.5?
