I was using up the old foam tyres at 60-57mm dia. I still find the RR12L5 doesnt want to rev like the NSR12S3 but has much more power low down.

The car was ballistic down the straight. It was reaching max revs very quickly. I'll see what its like on new foams. Maybe i'll go down to 26/46

Cheers

That's what they had for a long while in Japan I think.. I got one of those 3-4 months ago.. Optional chasis, carbon upper deck, front one-way and I also got a OS 12 TRP T and a Kyosho pipe set included in the kit..

Very good value!!! Highly recommended...

Hi, is it feasible to replace the self tapping screws with normal screws? I hate philips head....so I thought of building my fw05r with hex head screws...anyone? Thank you.

Can you Please tell me, where I can get that spare part for the Front Conversion. So that I can order it together somehow???

Also, is this conversion can give me more turning in steering or I am doing something wrong with a toe out of 1.5 - 1mm of caster???

here's my car:

Thanks Nimo for your reply on the other forum about the center conversion...

I used 3mm metric, hex-head screws on mine. No problems yet. Just make sure you use the same length screw as what was supposed to be used.

You can get it from Harmony Model Co. ,HK

If you want more turning in,you should need less front toe-out. try 0 front toe-out first. Want more off-power steering, reduce caster. Want more on-power steering, add caster.

Why I use the conversion .... just looks pro.....
