I would get the b44. The xxx is a good car, but the b44 will require less maintanance since its a shaft drive car.

B44 execellent fit and finish. High end parts and fasteners. Easy to assemble, good directions. Overall very happy with this buggy.

did anyone else notice how the steering was..
at full throw it would lock.. because the knuckle extended further than what the steering rack and turnbuckle would normally allow. not to mention bump steer out the ass.

at $289 the Academy SBV2 is cheap and alot more durable than the B44, front arms, slipper and front shock shafts seem to be the major weak points on the AE

And the Academy accepts stick packs.... for the lipo guys

I've had a XX4WE, XXX4G+, and currantly have a B44. I like both the XX4 and B44. Stay away from the XXX4! If you want a Losi get the XX4WE it's one of the best. I regret selling it.

keeping it to the cars you were curious on, I would easily choose the B44 over the XXX-4.

If you want to know opinions on the other cars out there, plenty of threads got them included too. In general, they all got pluses and minuses.

The 2 Losi XXX4s I owned are nowhere near what the B44 is with the B44 being more durable and I really like the detail and time spent on the entire drivetrain of the B44. AE has a real winner with this one and it is no wonder why they dominated the World's with this one!

Man and you tell me your not biased towards AE at all. I will say the xxx4 is not the car for a track with any roughness to it at all but the XX4 is amazing in the rough stuff.
