Trinity - Gold Peak 3300 Ni-MH 6 Cell VIS-Matched Team Spec
hi....
does anybody know what is the minimum runtime and average voltage values i will read on these cells labels???
And how about the internal resistance range????
thanxxx..........

I think the numbers on the outside of the box relate to the lowest number cell in the box

thanx...
but i would like to receive information from a driver who has a trinity gp 3300 team battery.....
altough trinity is a "big name" brand, the price of the batteries are very good, cheaper than most of matchers....
but i saw in tower hobbies that a team edition cell is only 1.15v.....
this value isn't good if i compare to promatch and fukuyama batteries...their cells are 1.70+.....

True, that's because Trinity has a tendency to keep those cells for their sponsored drivers, & we just get what's left over from them. The smaller matchers, however, actually have the lower prices(due to lower overhead costs) & don't hog so many of the best cells for themselves, so we can buy them too(I didn't want to say this on Trinity's board, but honestly, they kind of overprice their stuff too much, it's really not a great value for the money, just look on Fukuyama's site at the price on their 1.15 volt cells & you'll see what I mean). I think the best voltage numbers I've seen on a Trinity pack off the shelf were in the mid to high 1.16 range, with the normal run time numbers(anywhere from 390-420 seconds at 30 amps). That's not to say that their packs are bad, just that they're overpriced.....

here's the numbers i took of a random cell, of one of my old packs:
SEC: 420
MAH: 3500
AV/V: 1.142
AR: 3.1
MWHR: 3997

Spot on
Grizz Bob is spot on way over priced and the cells are the worst cells i have ever used i expected alot more from Trinity i will never use Trinity cells again.
I ordered 6 packs and the best i got as like 1.165 410 thats crap compared to whats out there.
That was a very expensive mistake not to be made again.
Try the aftermarket companies that GrizzBob mentioned or i believe the new Orion cells have MEGA numbers on them i think i may be getting them or Kinetix.

my doubt about buying trinity cells is because at speedtechrc.com i saw that team spec trinity cell are 1.70+.....
if is true the 6cell batteries are cheaper (US$63) than "small" matchers and the performance probably is high as them.....

i think is important to remember that some matchers are matching cell at 6A charging rate while trinity and promatch are still matching at 5A charging rate, then a 1.70+ cell matched at 5A is a top level cell....
the best number i have seen are from Hurricane cells......1.186AV and runtime 400+s.....

the best battery i saw was a orion sp battery highest was 1.97 and lowest was 1.95 and it had really good runtime and 30 amp discharge

wow!
it seems to be a killer battery!!!!
very impressive numbers....
i thought these cell couldn't reach more than 1.190v....
this orion cells are Vmax plus rds team?????

Orion uses the Lavco system for matching. Sort of difficult to make a comparison to what everyone else uses, the CE units.
I have a trinity team pack:
1.170v
410sec
2.4 IR
At 30 amps
Rememeber trinity uses a 5amp charge, it does make a difference on voltage. This pack would probably be a high 1.17x at 6amp charge.

As somebody says OBVIOUSLY you would think Trinity would make killer cells But they are greedy and keep ALLL of the good packs for themselves.
Why wouldnt you be looking at the Orion cells??? Can you see the diference between the numbers???? there probably only few dollare extra too.

trinity team cell are $63 while orion team cells are $70 and the team SP cells are $100....
that's a big difference.....
and the number are'nt good....tower hobbies show the labels' number from a gp3300SP team:
Discharge Time (sec): 422
Average Voltage: 1.135
Internal Resistance (mOhm): 3.3
Cells Total Energy (j): 14371
Discharge Rate (amp): 30
Ending Voltage: 0.70
I'm almost sure that is wrong, because most of people says that the gp3300SP from orion are 1.18~1.19.....
if i don't buy trinity cell i will buy promatch.....i still didn't because promatch factory team cell were $60 and now are $70....
i think promatch are very good cell because is the only "small matcher" that charges the cells at 5A and gets 1.17+ cells.....
