I have seen a few comments / questions for folks that have tried the ARTS. I have been running my D07 for about 1.5 years and have been pretty successful with the car. I run USGT on carpet. I played around with the ARTS for about a month before I switched back to the standard rear toe blocks.
The ARTS definitely freed up the rear of the car more than the fixed toe blocks but I found the car to be a bit unpredictable at times.
After about a month of working with the ARTS and feeling I had a decent handle on the car, I ran the first round with ARTS, swapped over to the fixed toe blocks for the second round and found my times to be around 0.07 - 0.1 faster across the fast lap and top 5, 10 laps but .2 faster on my top 20 laps.
In the end, I felt more consistent with the fixed rear toe blocks than the ARTS on our low grip carpet track.
I definitely don't think the ARTS is a "must have" option and I definitely think it is more beneficial on a high grip surface. It was fun working with it and if you are looking for something new to tinker with, I think you would enjoy it. But, I wouldn't expect to bump up to the podium simply due to adding this to your car.
These are just my observation points from my specific experience. Hope this helps someone.

I have the aggressive package and I think the belts are different.
But I'm going to try the normal belts since the motor mount is only 1mm rearwards, we should be able to adjust to a good tension using the tension setting rings on the diff/spool.

front drive shaft
What other options are people using? I find that the vbc front drive shaft don't hold up. I guess maybe hudy.

I am using TM (team magic) and I like them better.
I usually rebuild them after about 15 packs of batteries, and they last like ...forever.
Hudy is as good, but they are pricy.

Use lithium grease spray on the DCJ before assembly, especially on the kit DCJ. They're not too bad if maintained.
Roche-NLA
Radtec- superseded Roche and they seem to have more bearing slop
Arrowmax- appear to be the same as Radtec
Race-Opt (Team Powers) seem to be similar to Roche.
I'm still running a pair of Roche DCJ and hardened front outdrives that have raced about once a week for 2 years. Very minimal wear.

I'm a little confused as to what type of issues people have with the dcj's in the vbc cars?
I run mod indoor and outdoor and have had the same set of dcj's in my car for over a year.
They have almost zero slop even after a year of mod racing.

I think they had a bad run of heat treating on some sets. I have the original set in my D06 that I have run for 2.5 seasons. The first 2 sets I had in my D07 broke on the dogbone shaft side. The socket, that the ball in the axle end fits in broke. the last replacement set works fine and has been in the car for 6 months.

Quality as best I can tell, on par with the Yokomo and others (BD7 2015 was what I was considering).
Floating layshaft, similar to the BD7.
Dual joint front axles, BD7 add.
Floating servo mount, BD7 add.
Floating steering rack, third party for BD7.
$369.00?? Seriously? WTF?
This kit is just a few dollars more than the Spec-R R2.
