Jim, the batteries are different ... the 720 uses AAA size and arranged in a "L" shape below the tank. Go here and get them ... they've been made ready for the 710/720.

"Tyres"? Well ... how about we call "trunk" the "boot"? Or we spell socialize, "socialise"?

B4, like I said, this depends on your engine, tune etc. I had a fully race-tuned engine the first time I went out with the 720 and it was in 2nd right away. This could be your problem. I recommend screwing in say 1 to 1-1/2 turns and then try again revving up slowly. Fine tune on the track after you are sure you're getting 1st gear.

Agree.
I don't remember having any 2 speed setting problem when i had my 710. I have just come from the RRR back to the 720 and the RRR has a bigger ratio difference between 1st and 2nd so it's easier to feel the change.

Before I had run it on the track, no matter which way I went with the screws, I couldn't hear it shift.
Luke W,
Thanks for the info it''s confirmed my thoughts, but
I didn't think I would need to go in that far.

I said for the same setting on a new 2-speed as the 710, in the 720 it appears to cause the 2-speed to shift earlier (depending on engine tune). I did not say that I had problems with the 710.

I did not mean to imply that you did have a problem sorry if it came across that way.

Hey Doug, What's the advantage of the o-ring cap? I like the current design serpent has on their fuel tanks.

I put the 710 front wishbones on my 720 because because they seemed to be made of a slightly harder material. When i tried them back to back they definatly helped the car turn in better but i lost a bit of corner exit.

Just my opinion

Default O-Ring Fuel Tank Seal

Previously the seal was created using foam but it has now been updated to use a rubber o-ring. The advantage of the orange o-ring is that it creates a better and more consistent seal over a much greater number of uses due to the fact that the o-ring won’t compress or deform over time.
