LiPo...if they don't allow it, I don't race.

All the local places here allow them, except for the JBRL series (boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo).

well some kids cant afford lipo's, I like them for club racing but, JBRL should not allow lipo's in the future, just my opinion.

Big deal...I can't afford NiMh, so they shouldn't allow them either.

There should be room for more affordable, user-friendly technologies. Not everyone out there is looking to be the next Kinwald.

To me, "no LiPo" = "no club racing" = "we take racing way too seriously"

BTW -- in case anyone is going to blow any more smoke about how "expensive" LiPo is...especially compared to NiMh. You can race and be somewhat competitive -- all night, practice, heats and mains) with one $70 LiPo and a $60 charger. Try that with NiMh and let me know how that works for you. Oh yeah...and it'll do that for the next few years without dropping off in any meaningful way, performance-wise.

Exclamation

NIMH for sure! I can buy 3 packs for what one lipo costs, and if ya take care of them (dont charge them at 10 amps like sponsored drivers) they last quite a long time!

But, seriously! Who cares?

Keep the cost down for the non-sponsored guys!

Ok smart a$$, I get packs for more like 45 -55, and the only lipo worth buying is the Orions because they actually have a durable case, and they are more like $150... I have heard if ya go cheap on lipos.... Bang! Out comes the "magic smoke", and bye bye goes whatever is close to it, radio, receiver, whatever!!!

Where are ya going to race, to utilize the added capacity of a lipo? Cause as far as I know most tracks run at most 7 minute mains, here we ran a 15 minute main and 4200s' worked just fine!

Remember some guys actually pay for their gear.

Not everybody has a battery sponsor, a motor sponsor, a radio sponsor, a tire sponsor, a factory sponsor, yadda yadda yadda...

If ya got dough for 3800's then its 3800's...

I still run 3300's! Work great still!!! Lack some of the punch of the 3800 or 4200... But they work!
