Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the compliments. We officially launch the conversion kit today, here are a couple of media sites that ran press release on it:

http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/s...d.php?t=263246

http://www.redrc.net/2011/06/strc-sl...onversion-kit/

and they are available through our website now:

http://www.teamstrc.com/index.php?ro...tegory&path=65

I should have instructions up online by the end of the week

Great!!! I just placed my order. So what's the recommended lid to use on this rig. I'm ready to work on my next project and get my Slash 4X4 off the shelf and back on the road. Oh yeah!!!

I run an Infeno GT body. I can't see where the conversion would pose and problems with that.

I'm considering a few options but would this work on the Slash 4X4 GT Conversion as a possible lid?

I'm also considering another Warrior lid as well. Those look so cool!!

Bring it next time out in Corona. I'll have one by then as well. If we do a LITE class, I'll run both.

That's the plan Bro. I just hope this GT8 Lite Class doesn't kill the GT8 Class. Hopefully, we can get a couple more folks have one of these rigs by the next Corona race.

I don't think it will. I believe it would appeal mostly to racers that already have the slash, otherwise, the cost savings goes out the window.

I believe a 2s limit for the LITE class would be a good rule and 3s if the conversions would run with the regular GT8 class. Steve's car on 2s was outstanding! He still qualified high in the A main with it. I bet 3s would set new laptimes. I'll know soon enough.

What foam bumper do you recommend for this conversion?
