Yeah, I have made quite a few sets just like the ones in the pic. I either use the 2wd rears, or 4wd fronts and match them to a current pair with the correct width, cut and CA back together. Go slow, and dont use a lot of glue, basically just get the cut wet..

Not at the moment.

I did however mount our B4.1 alloy hex on the rear and put our new hex wheel on . Unfortunately couldn't do anything for the front .

We only use a rear tire so that you have the proper carcass once glued back together. I count 4 lugs from each side and then cut; this gives you a total of 8 lugs across once glued back together.

JConcepts New Releases – Pressure Points SCT Tire

JConcepts, a leader in Short Course performance with accredited victories around the world, including back-to-back ROAR National Championships, has added another piece to its successful racing arsenal. The Pressure Points are the latest low-height tread option specifically designed to tame high-speed courses with either wet or blue groove traction conditions. The design starts as an angular, low pin design as a carryover from the successful Bar Codes front tire line-up. The small “points” combined with “lower case” Y elements developed on the original Bar Codes V1 rear tire provide the ultimate in surface area “pressure” penetration and tack.

The inner side-wall has built-in ribbing which limits carcass collapse and increases support on the outside during hard cornering and driving. The new inner ribbing, combined with the included JConcepts Profiled closed cell insert, is a perfect match to provide the ultimate in support, traction and consistency.

In the movies, it’s been said that loose is fast and on the edge of out of control. In our world, loose is slow and off the pace. The Pressure Points are designed to be driven hard while maintaining the grip necessary to drive at the limit. The edges of the side-walls have been carefully rolled for a smooth transition during corning which limits traction-roll characteristics and allows the driver control during the all important tipping point every driver has experienced.

Just like all JConcepts tires, the Pressure Points are a proven winner. JConcepts driver Ryan Maifield won the 2011 Reedy Truck Race of Champions in the 4×4 class utilizing the Pressure Points in green compound.

Go for the vitals with JConcepts, attack with Pressure Points.

Features:
· Available in Soft (Blue), Super Soft (Green) Indoor Soft (Gold) and Outdoor hot (Orange) compounds
· Low-height tread, specifically designed to tame high-speed courses
· Inner side-wall ribbing, limits carcass collapse and increases support
· Includes light-weight and durable Closed Cell “Profiled” inserts

JConcepts New Releases – Hazard SCT (white) Wheel

JConcepts Hazard wheel is the 2011 ROAR National Champion.

Short Course trucks have evolved into high-performance racing vehicles and adjustability is always the key to success. Introducing the Hazard 12mm hex wheel for the SC10 4×4 and SC10 by JConcepts. A powerful new look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from yesteryear. The Hazard will make an immediate impact on the performance of the SC10 trucks by widening the stance of the truck by 6mm in overall width. The increased width will maximize the SC10 and bring it up to the ROAR maximum legal limits in dimensional width.

Already a champion, the Hazard wheel earned the top qualifying position and 1st place at the 2011 ROAR Off-Road Nationals in the Pro 2 modified class in the hands of Ryan Maifield. A dominating performance taking the TQ in the first 3 rounds of qualifying and 1st place in A-main #1 and 2 to take retain the title for JConcepts.

By nature, Short Course trucks have a high center of gravity and tend to feel light or tippy in high-speed sections. There is no better way to improve on-track stability than to add width, and with the Hazard wheels, sweeping through the high-speed corners gets a little easier. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. With the black color and a matte face appearance, being unique is worry free as practically any paint scheme can be matched to these exciting new wheels. The hassle-free and lightweight 1-piece design creates the ultimate race and show wheel for any competition.

To use the 12mm hex wheel on the SC10 it requires JConcepts part # 2081 for the rear and the Team Associated inboard hub hex conversion for front.

Features:
· Original 1:1 inspired JConcepts Hazard 12mm hex design
· 3mm per side additional width in offset
· Direct bolt-on fit for the SC10 4×4
· Bolt-on fit for the SC10 with 12mm hex adaptors

How do you think the pressure points in gold will compare to the gold bar codes for hi bite indoor clay?

I personally haven't tried them on that surface, but I would imagine even more grip. Unfortunately tire wear will be a little more in those conditions. I've run them on indoor tracks like Trackside, Mike's Hobbyshop, West Coast and they were awesome. Those tracks are damp/wet hard packed brown dirt surfaces popular in the northeast and mid west. I've also run them on outdoor slick groove or dusty groove surfaces with great success.

Thanks and yes

I'm not 100% sure, but we are working on the press release now. So it should be really soon . Yes, there will be panels that can be cut out for venting.

When will the Pressure Points be at A-Main? I have a huge order coming from them soon and might as well throw them in there as well, no need in spending extra on shipping.

Thanks.
