Its a Single speed center diff...Look at the Parts explosion.
Here are some pics from the show. I was told that it was not a prototype, but the production vehicle.

its meant for the track its a racer and the start isnt an option

I dont know if it is meant for the track or not, but no one racing would run a remote start. And it is not in the same class as the other cars....its too slow for a truggy class and it has no place in the nitro short course class.

it defeily good be a racer just get rid of the starter stuff and make it a non pullstart if want to and put better tires on it and there u go maybe il see one next season in 2010 on the track praceting the parts look beefey just like the eight and the drivetrain is pretty good and the center diff defiely makes it a racer not a basher

All that to make it race worthy, doesn't sound like any other losi racer that I own of have ever heard of.

This could spark a 1/10 4x4 open class.

How does it compare in size to the Jammin' .5crt?

Seems to be a chunk larger.

Not sure why they didn't take this idea and make a real shortcourse racer out of it to compete with the new Traxxas 4wd and Ofna/Jammin' 4wd trucks.

the prototype comment was in reference to the pics on losi's site....Those are more the likely from a couple months ago when they were prototyping the truck and needed pics for the web dorks to lay out the page....I have no doubt the unit at the show was a production unit.

I own a CRT.5 and imo they went too small...1/12 just didn't cut it....1/10 is way more friendly as per parts durability and ease of driving....im glad they went 1/10

I hope it is indeed race worthy. I think it is a great idea and hope it turns into a good class. I run the 1/8 scale all summer, but in the winter we move inside, and our tracks are a bit small for the 1/8 scales. It would be a perfect fit for these indoor tracks!
