HI, I upgraded to brushless 6 months ago and recently ive been experiencing a lot of stripped spur gears in a TT01, would any body be able to shed some light on this?

Best guess is the mesh is misaligned. With a plastic mount there is limited adjustment, so only certain gears will fit well.

Brushless probably means more power, TT-01s are not built for power.

Check you have replaced the pinion as well as the spur, if the pinion is damaged or worn it will strip the spur.

Check that all the bearings and the chassis parts around the motor and spur are in good condition, if anything is loose or moving around too much then that will also make the gear strip.

But fundamentally the TT-01 doesn't suit powerful motors, everything is made of soft plastic and the parts move around a lot.

That's a really hot motor for a TT01. Might want to step back to something like a 13.5 or 10.5

also, there is a little set screw that goes into the top of the motor cover (not in all the manuals) that helps keep the motor mount from moving. there's a little hole in the top of the motor cover where it goes...doesn't have to be super tight, just snug enough to keep the whole motor mount from moving around

I know the one year we used this car for a 24-hour enduro, we didn't use it and ended up killing a couple of spur gears, and that was with only a silver can motor...
