Here's my practice track in my backyard.
Track Pictures-mypracticetrack_dscn8024_small.jpg

It's not much, but I figure when I learn to stop crashing all over the place on it, it'll be worth my time to start practicing not crashing all over the place at our local track .

Hey, we all gotta start somewhere, and I applaud your effort in setting up lanes rather than just "bashing" randomly. Having to stay within the lanes will quickly make you a better driver and you'll be ready for the local dirt track in no time. Just keep an eye on your motor and ESC temps running through the grass.

So it's really just to keep us in practice for the series races we run which are usually about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away.

That's some serious dedication. You must not have a dog.

Nope no dog, But I do have a 12 yr. old that loves to race as much as I do, AND a VERY understanding wife!!! Plus I owned my own landscape business for a number of years so the dirt and drain tile was f-r-e-e

Here's a crappy 3 view of our local track. The layout's been changed, but not a whole lot. You can see how it is now in the videos.
