Default Event T-shirt deadline.....

Well the deadline to get a free event t-shirt has gone and past. You can still enter the race at anytime up until the first day of the event but you will not get a free event t-shirt with your paid entry. So far there are 35 people that have use the on-line signup and a hand full of others that have sent in their request via-mail or paid in person at The Track.

So if you still want to make the race you can dont hesitate to sign up only the free event t-shirt dead line has past.

Standard USVTA rules....HPI tires with stock inserts....no double stuff tires....front tires on front rims and rear tires on rear rims. All tires will be checked in tech before racing starts to insure that they are legal.

There needs to be 90% tread still on the tires. Only a little bald patch on the inside edge of the tires are ok. No slicks will be allowed.

Did I sign up early enough for a free t shirt? Gee, I hope so. I don't have enough racing themed shirts in my closet.

So who is this Johnson guy everyone keeps mentioning?

Myron- I will get a list up for you guys in the next few days. Your better half will probably want to be out by Gurnee Mills for a shopping extravaganza

T-Shirt? How many guys can say their name is on the wall for the best looking, one of a kind VTA?

Johnson? I think he retired after winning the strap from Uncle "The Hulkster" Kenny.

All things considered these days I'd be happy with that! Especially looking at some of our local big races where the numbers have just disappeared.

Got my body painted up... Can't wait to hop in the car for that lovely drive across Iowa and Illinois!! Hoping to leave earlier and get more than 1 1/2 hours sleep before the racing starts this year!! I'm getting too old for that crap anymore!

In case anyone forgot.............

USVTA Trans-Am Nationals 2009 - 14 days left to register!

Its hard to say it depends on turn out if we spilt the groups into an A and B group. If there isnt enough people then it will be a battle royal everyman for himself format....lol.
