From memory its 6 turns out on LSN and HSN when new. It needs leaning out abit off those settings thou. I must be about half a turn in at least on LSN and not sure on HSN, probably half a turn as well.

I love the zx12, faster last weekend then some exotics worth more then twice the price and parts are so cheap.

Those who are racing the new conrod made by Serpent, be careful. A top driver broke one in his engine yesterday during qualifiers. I don't know how much run time it had, but it couldn't be more than three races. Uptil now, I havent heard about the Palmaris conrod breaking, only a freak accident that the conrod blew on engine startup. Just wanted to tell you guys so it doesn't catch you by surprise.

, when I said top driver, meant local top drivers (sorry I didnt specify). Not top, top, top sponsored drivers (i.e. paolo/salven).

Riketsu:

Just to clarify something. He didn't broke the conrod, BTW he was using the old conrod. He broke the main Bearing.

Ugh... He said broke the new conrod while qualifying and the old conrod during the main. Or are you saying he broke the new conrod due to bearing failure? Because I distinctively remember talking to him saying he broke two conrods in one day.

Well......

I called him later while driving home, and he told me only about the bearing.

I am pretty sure that he will tell me if anything goes wrong with the conrod.

BTW, How are the palmaris working??

I am still using mine, and you saw how my car runs.

Yeah, your car was running sweet. Too bad you had to retire during the main. Awesome race, it was a sort of rematch of the other race.

Im talking bout Ivancito. He broke a conrod (the new serpent one) during a qualify. Then another during the race (old batch). Didn't know Guillermo also broke his engine.

So from all this, is there some new conrod that is stronger than the older ones that is guaranteed to not break or something?

Wellll is very difficult to guaranteed that will not break. but normally if you break 2 conrods, so close, you need to verify the crankshaft. That normally happen when its hurt.

Right now I been using palmaris since november, my engine already have about 3 hours of use, after every race I measure the conrod, and have the same measure as new. I haven't tested the new one yet.
