Default Dumb Luck

OK so I have a Quasar Pro and it quit while under ac power. I hook it up to dc and it works but won't regulate amps to the pack. I'm talkin' 15 amps, that lasted about two seconds. That was months ago and since I've gotten an lrp pulsar comp (spend the money to keep racing but not to fix equipment and wait). Looks like It worked out well for the price of shipping I'll get what I still feel is a very competent charger IF this repair takes care of the reliability issues.

Has anyone mailed in and recieved their Quasars back...wondering about turn around time.

Also wondering has anyone actually used the 800 numbers given and spoke to someone?? I keep calling and either get a busy signal or an answering service.

I already asked, FED-EX and UPS how much would it cost to send my Charger. its US$98.00!!! Thats about a price of a good second hand NOVAK Mill Pro/LRP Pulsar Sport/Pitbull!!!

I'll be willing to shoulder the trip of my charger statesside-- But will they pay for it to send it back to me?
yeah! will they ship it back international free of charge? there is no mention about it on the website regarding international customers?

i finally decided to send my charger in...

but i still think the recall 800 numbers they setup are a joke. hopefully you int'l guys can actually get a hold of someone using those numbers to get your questions answered.

one line is either busy or no one answers...the other number just goes to a recorded message that refers to the website.

This fault is only on the 110v chagers and NOT the 220v ones sold in the UK.
UK Spec chargers are not affected by this problem and do not need to be sent back.

Here in Manila, we also use 220V like you in the UK and our Quasars went berzerk!!!!! My LHS is willing to send the Quasar Pro for me and said it will take awhile because AE will just ship it back on his Next order. That's a gesture that is uncalled for from our LHS and I appreciate it very much!!!!

As soon as I get it back--- Trade it for a discharger also/motor or even tires!!! hehehehehe

Got my charger back today...

Have not had a chance to try it out yet. Anyone else receive their repaired units back?
