There is parking lot racing in Kearny Mesa every other week. Check the thread in the racing forum DHW Parking Lot racing.

I think there is something going on maybe one time only in San Marcos in the future.

OK thanks. San Diego does not seem to be RC friendly. I don't want to buy a car unless there is something fairly close. Anything near San Diego?

What Don said is correct. DHW in San Diego races every other Sunday. It is organized parking lot racing. They usually get around 50+ entries and the racing is very good.

Do you know what Sunday they plan on racing next? I would like to take a look and see what type of car I would buy since i am a total noob.

I am not sure, but I think it is next Sunday....you can always call DHW and they will let you know.
