it sounds like you plugged in the wires to the rx wrong the servo goes in the first channel and the esc goes in the second channel and make sure the darkest wire of the 3 is facing away from the rx

did u make sure the leads are plugged in correctly? im sure you did but just checking, you may have the channels reversed by accident

silver can ? is that brushed ? and is your other motor brushless ? it may be a setting on the ESC to change over for the type of motor used. if that is the case sometimes signals go all funny if proper esc setting isnt used for the type of motor. if that isnt the case, then id try another receiver. reversing channels only changes the direction of the channel, not the channel its self. id try to disconnect your motor wires and try your steering with motor disconnected. and if it plays up wiht the motor then connected, then you know its ESC problem.

Hey dude, don't look further, channel 1 is steering, and channel 2 is throttle, always!

he has stated he has changed the channels and it stops the twitch but still trigger works steering.

He didn't say trigger worked steering in the first post, he said it turns WHILE accelerating.

It's probably either the servo or receiver.

Id just swap bits out (1 at a time) if possible to narrow it down. Find a different servo and see if it does the same thing. Find someone else with different radio gear and plug your esc & servo into their receiver and try again. Trial and error but it should narrow things down. Also you could try putting a JR style connector onto a capacitor and plug it into a spare slot on your receiver.

so by this he has tried swapping channels on the receiver.
so 2nd option is the right one. when you change from brushless to brushed, if the esc settings arent matched to the motor type, funny things happen. that is why i suggested to disconnect the motor and try his steering again. but it could also be a receiver issue , its a matter of elimination.

I've had a 2.4 system do exactly this before. It turned out to be the receiver. Mine was reversed symptoms tho, turning the steering also revved the motor.

There is no brushless anything involved. A Novak 410 esc is an oldy but goody speedo.
