27.5 shock oil. He said he used 25 weight but I thought that was too thin so I mixed 30 wt and 25 wt toegther. He is a gold member. those are like $750 a year I think.

ok, so on my steering servo problems I adjusted everything losiracer12 said to do. and BTW 1 turnbukle was off and it affected the steering alot. But I got that fixed and centered the servo by taking the horn off and that but it still only goes halfway to the right. Why is that? Im going to OCRC tomorrow and I want to be ready to run when I get there.

Hmm, does your radio have an EPA (end point adjustment) if so check it when you turn to the right and compare the setting to the setting when turning left.

how about a set-up for the xxx-4 at ocrc? And what are your thoughts on running a one-way in this car, i currently am running one because i find its easier for me to drive with one.

What is .120 internal limiting? OCRC I heard has alot of traction, so i dont know if i should use the inner hole on the rear VLA arms. I dont like my car to be aggressive either. How is this setup? lbckevin runs at OCRC and he gave me this...

I run 30 wt oil up front with buggy blue springs, in the rear I run 25wt oil with yellow springs. I run the front shocks insided on the arm and inside ( all the way down) on the shock tower. For the rear I run in the middle on the arm and all the way out on the shock tower.

I run a trinity co27 motor, geared 17/88 (stock spur I think)

I run Proline Edges or Losi red directionals up front and Proline M3 Holeshots for rear tires.

I have changed to the CR longer chassis (its only $20) AND its handles much better.
---- ------- -------- ------- --------

My only question is could red springs with 30wt shock oil be good in the front and 27.5wt and yellow in the rear? All with #56 pistons. And what is the difference in pistons?

To answer your other question, 27.5 56 and yellow may be ok or it could be slightly overdampened for the yellow spring at your track. If your gonna use that setup I would say go to 25wt oil OR up to a pink spring but not do both
Well right now I have the front shock location on the 3rd hole on the a arm. I have orange springs though. So what should I use? Or better yet what should I buy at their hobby shop?

I will post a xxx4 setup with a front diff as soon as I can obtain the same fastest lap times with a diff as I did with a one-way in the car. The setup that was in my xxx4 is vey similar to the Cav setup that should still be on the Losi site the only diff is 2.5wt to 5wt thicker oil and a blue front spring. In the next few weeks I should have a setup w no one-way
Cool man thanks, im thinking about trying the diff up front but ill have to go up on like a saturday or during the week for a full day of practice. Speaking of ocrc liverc.com should be broadcasting
