Can anyone tell me what the factory carb settings(including mid range needle) are on a v-spec?

NEEDLE SETTINGS: These are pre-set from the factory and require little or no adjustment (BS)

High Speed - 3 turns out from fully closed

Throttle Stop Screw - 1/2 turn out from fully closed

Mixture Control Valve (low speed) - Flush with indentation on screw head pointing at 2:00

just make sure you have same carb.

there's 21C, 21J, and 21JS. they're all little different.

I believe this is for 21C and 21J, I use this setting for both my speed, and one has 21C and other has 21J

HSN 3 turns out from full closed
MID 1 turn IN from flush with caburetor body
LSN Flush with Ball link body

HSN needle is by the fuel intake,
LSN is on the sliding carb
MID is on the opposite side of the LSN

only setting I touch is HSN.

Drive it for a few mins on the track, tune, drive a few mins on the track, tune ect. You will know when you get it right. Be patient and dont stick to the exact # of turns and other peoples settings, they will get you close but every engine/ carb is different.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but the V-Spec 21J carb settings are confusing me. I tried for about 2 hours today just to get a running tune without success. I have tried multiple sources to try to get the default settings for the needles.

In this thread, devilchrist states the correct position for the needles is
HSN 3 turns out from full closed
MID 1 turn IN from flush with caburetor body
LSN Flush with Ball link body
According to token, the answer is:
High Speed - 3 turns out from fully closed

Throttle Stop Screw - 1/2 turn out from fully closed

Mixture Control Valve (low speed) - Flush with indentation on screw head pointing at 2:00
Then, in this other thread post here, jpalessi says:
IDLE: 1 full turn (from just fully closed)
LSN: 4 full turns from closed
MRN: 3-3/4 turns from closed (flush) 10 o'clock
HSN: 3 full turns from closed
Meanwhile, the manual that came with my V-spec says:

HSN - 3 turns in from closed
LSN - 0.5mm beyond (out from) ball link end
MSN - flush
Then, the online manual here, says:

HSN - 3 turns in from closed
LSN - flush w/ ball link end
MSN - 1 turn in from flush
So the question is: which is actually correct? The only thing every source agrees on is the HSN needs to be 3 turns out from closed.

I am seriously about to send this carb back to O.S. or something and pay to have it properly setup again. This is just getting frustrating.
