It was used at paved nats. It gives you points for how well you finish overall per round and the point totals decide where you qualify overall.

maybe -- as Karl said -- they were in place at the Asphalt Nats this year. i don't want qual points (wasn't a fan) -- i just want to know if they are in play or not.

Highly doubt they will be used. ROAR uses them at the paved races to make it more equal in that no one can get a fast run in when the sun goes down while someone else blows out in the only run they have when the track is real fast.

They don't use them for carpet since that doesn't have any affect.

With roar cutting a day out of practice last year the track was still building traction on the second day of qualifying. So the first 2 rounds ment nothing.

So as much as I hate them I think qual points are needed.

My entries will be there this week.

Come on people we need to support ROAR and any sanctioned racing we could have, What happens when we do not have rules and regulations , this hobby will die fast. Maybe that is what everyone wants. I do not know.

Mimi's track has held great nationals in the past and i am sure you do not want to miss this one.

Now if we could get this thread a sticky, Maybe we can get some traction and people will notice.
