GMSchmidt, PM sent to you.
Guys, I think I'm going to start up a retail hobby shop in Belleville and give Corner Hobbies a bit of competition. They've had a monopoly in Belleville for far too long.
Found a nice little storefront on the south side of the Belleville fountain with decent rent and location and I'm now working with Hobbico/Great Planes and Horizon on getting accounts setup.
We'll start with electric cars/trucks (and maybe a smattering of small electric aircraft stuff), and move into the glow stuff as business increases.
Now is the time for anyone and everyone to step up with what they do and don't like in a hobby shop.
For one, as an innovation, we'll be both retail and online, with a kiosk in the shop for online ordering (for those of you who know what you want and don't want to wait in line). So, we'll have both a retail counter and a will-call area. If we're busy, use the kiosk and when done we'll quickly gather the order and get it to you right away. If you're at work, use the online cart and the order will either be shipped or can be available at the will-call counter.
This may not be the place to put this, and I apologize to the site and moderators if it has broken any rules.
Regards,
-WJ

I've had real good luck with PRS gears. Just don't use P.O.S. gears!
