What's the internal drive ratio for this car? If it's 2.6, I have to question why they shipped the car with an 87 tooth spur gear? im going to need a 40 tooth pinion to run 17.5... Do we have other spurs we can get yet?

It's 2.6 but the 87 is the only Durango spur available. A few posts back, there is a link for a British company making after market machined spurs for the Durango in 83/85/87 and they will make any size you want. I asked JConcepts if they will make one in their Silent Speed line. They said no plans as of yet. It's basically the B4 spur gear with a larger diameter center hole.

83, 85, 87? I take it 87 is left over from their SC truck where you are typically geared much lower? I was hoping they would of had a normal buggy spur ready to go by the time the car came out. 75, 78, and 81.

I believe the 87 is also on the 410. Check this out. I personally want to see 78 & 81 spurs for the 210.

I wonder if the shorty pack would benefit this car?

They only have one 85 instock

That would be cool if JC made them, not sure what I'm going to do when I run 17.5 in December at the Spektrum race

I'm running 2wd mod and stock at the Clash in December. I might try reaming a 81t B4 spur out. The schumacher guys have been doing that for a while.

I wonder if this would work???

They are working on other spur gears. Yes the car is a 2.6 ratio car.

They don't run 17.5 overseas very often especially in offroad. That is a very US type scenario.

I'm fitting a short Protek in mine right now.

But I would imagine that the US is at least half the market, no?
