I would to start out this message by congratulating all of the Midwest racers that had some great finishes at the Great Lakes Challenge this last week. The Midwest seemed to be well represented this year, and the Toledo club, as always did an outstanding job again. It was a great race and I had a ball. I hope everyone else did also.
The Mentor MWS race is just about 2 weeks away and the MORR club will be having club races these next 2 Sundays. So if you get a chance come on out and check out the new facility they will be using to host this years MWS race on.
Remember to please help me prepare for the cookout and pre-register for the Mentor race as soon as possible. Last year the Mentor race had 97 entries and feedback from the drivers over the last couple of races make me believe we will surpass that number. Remember to bring your raffle tickets from the Racine race. They will be combined with the tickets handed out when signing in at the Mentor race.
The last race of the year on September 16-17 WILL be in DETROIT at the same venue where they hosted it last year, the Emagine Theater. The Detroit club has hired Bryon Young to run timing and scoring this year.
Hope to see everyone in Mentor

What is a good starting rollout for 200mm at the MORR Club track?
What is the tire shore of choice for 200mm?
Thank you
Doug

Just a reminder for everyone planning on attending the Mentor MWS race to please pre-register. This will be the race where the “Sponsor Appreciation Cookout” will be held along with the door prize giveaway. The cookout will be at the race site following racing on Saturday. It is free to all racers and their guest. Pre-registration is asked so that cookout supplies can be estimated. It also entitles all pre-registered racers to twice as many chances at door prizes. So please pre-register as soon as possible. The Mentor club will also have a club race this Sunday, August 20th for those of you that want to get a head start on set ups for the MWS race.
See you all in Mentor

Drivers,
It's rapidly approaching, approximately 45 days before practice begins for the ROAR 2006 'Open' Fuel Nationals.
The Tri-State RC Auto Racers (TSRCAR) is hosting our annual "Tri-State 200" September 2nd and 3rd, and look forward to providing an opportunity for a Pre-Nats warm-up.
If you're looking to break-in that new motor, or simply wanting to fine-tune your set-up (I'd recommend it, traction is way up!)... We look forward to seeing you in the next two weeks!
Also, as a reminder, "late fees" begin on September 1st, so don't plan to bring your entry to the Tri-State Race, unless you plan to bring another $20!

Onward to Mentor! Looking forward to the new site! I thought the old one was pretty nice and word is, this one is better! Not looking forward to the million dollars or so, in gas to get there.

The MORR club is ready for this weekends MWS race. They had a club race this last weekend and used sugar water for traction. The bite was very nice. Tire wear is a tad on the high side but should improve as the rubber gets layed down. Hope to see everyone there. Don't forget to pre-register.

OK all MWS racers. The Mentor race is only 3 day’s away. Be sure to pre-register at midwestseries.com by Thursday midnight to double your chances for the door prize drawing. The Sponsor Appreciation Cookout and drawing will be held Saturday evening at the track stating about 6:30 or 7:00pm. Nobody will leave hungry or thirsty. Be sure to bring a guest if you like, but it would help if you pre-register and select “Bringing Guest” as one of the registration options.
Hope to see everyone there.
