Default Question(s) on the HPI Pro 4...

I am thinking about buying a Pro 4. I want to buy it for these reasons...

Great Overall Looking Design
Simple Design
Purple Parts!

If I buy one I am not going to run it at all. I just can't stand having a car that only runs 5 minutes. So if I buy one it'll be the car as a chassis and I'll get a body for it. I'll keep it for display or just for the love of having it. I really don't think you could make anything better than a Pro 4? I mean what else could you do to improve performence? Besides foam tires, better electronics ect.

But anyways some questions...

Is the Pro 4 190mm or 200mm? Its the car light? Does anyone make a Ceramic Bearing Kit for the car?

The Pro 4 is 190mm wide, and it's really lightweight.

There are no need for ceramics because the stock ones are super smooth already.

Does anyone know why HPI makes there Electric Tourers 190mm and there Nitro 200mm?

I don't see why you would do that?

Cool thanks on the info though. I've always wanting a few 190mm HPI bodies. Like the old Integra.

Everyone makes TC's 190mm and Nitro TC's 200mm. It's just the standard.

Re: Question(s) on the HPI Pro 4...

Is this a serious statement?????? Its not really a "simple design" and why buy one of the best chassis you can get to put a body on top of and make a shelf queen out of it? In which case why does it matter if you can or cant get anything better and why spend money on electronics for it??

Also why would you even concider ceramic bearings just to set it on the shelf????? If you really got money burning a hole in your pocket just send it to me..... e-mail me I will give you my address.....LOL

So you can't stand the thought of buying building a car to only run 5 minute races, but doing the same to let it set on a shelf and collect dust?????

Just look at other people's pro4's if you like the way they look. it is a great car and i own one but dont waste your money on somthing that will never touch the track. thats a waste if you ask me. if you want to run longer runs then buy an 8th scale gas car and get in the A-main that will be about one hour.
