Battlefield Raceway carpet track.

Battlefield Raceway carpet track.
We have secured the cafeteria in a N.Ga school for this winters oval and roadcourse racing...YAY! It is just north of Trenton, Ga and south of Tiftonia, Tn. which is on the west side of Chattanooga. They have given us the entire hallway for the pit area, very cool. That by itself will hold a lot of people. Electricity, restroom, and conssesions. Since it is a Ga. state building there will be NO smoking allowed but we will have a spot by the door for those raceday jitters . Parking and very easy to find. I'll give directions later. Since it is an older school the cafeteria will not hold the entire carpet track but there will be plenty of room for racing on what cooper says will be 7 foot lanes. I say let's do 6 feet and make more of curves . More info to follow soon.

I was also wondering how the carpet would be glued/secured to prevent any movement.
If this track is done right it will make the winter months a lot of fun. Let's race!
You going to have a Rubber Tire ONLY Touring Class? It will get people ready for the next season and keep racing costs down. Foams can get expensive. Foams are faster but if everyone is on Rubber Tires there will be no tire advantage. Just wondering.
