The question is why risk it with a 120 when a 116 actually fits? I dont even plan on running a 116 outside. I'm gonna go to the 48 pitch for outdoor just to be safe.

I saw one with a 120 on this weekend and it sticks out just a little bit. That picture is blurry and still looks like it sticks out to me

120 is simply too close. Stick with a 116, guys.

Ironically, I bought like 6 112s and I plan on running those for a while. Better to be safe than sorry with such fine teeth.

Like Larry said, a lot of guys, Dobbs included run only 48p outdoors. I'm not one of them since I never really had a problem prior, but if I do, I'm switching right over to 48p. I've got all the pinions and everything.

Quinn, Yo don't tell me what to run j/k! I'll definatly give her a try on that V2 but, um, pretty sure with me at the wheel I ain't going to make 5 minutes alive out there!

Monk Man, I'll get you and all of your pretty cars sometime soon!

Matt- Yeah yeah I know what too run out there honest! Ran a D6 all year that was a 12x2. Decent. Just wanted to really try a 19 turn badly! Will I keep up, I really don't know, but hey its worth a try. Either way I'll still be a lap or two down from the regulars so it really doesn't matter. Well It matters when Mr. Fontaine passes me then its over! J/k John. O the track should be dusty for the first couple weeks anyways. I really dn't think I need a lot of horse power at the begining. Either way I think I'll start off with 19 turn then move away from it too a hot Mod motor in the area of 10-14 turns. We'll see soon though.

Steve- I'm coming over to show you how to work that caramera! Are you attending the ORL at all? I might, not set in stone yet, attend the event. Would hate to have to get back late that night though. It is two hours away from me and I really don't want to return at 11 o'clock with school the next day. We'll see though.

Williams, Hello!

Fast Freddy! Beep Beep! Sorry man I forgot to say hi at Horsum last time. I was the guy talking to Tag a lot!

TTYL all later!

Default The one to ask!

I must ask, why does everyone choose 48 pitch over 64 pitch? I ran 64 outdoors all year and no problems (that I recall) outside. I know that 64 is a better, fine pitch gear but why so? I know a typical newbie question. I feel so dumb now!

the main reason 64 is considered better is you're able to get more gear ratios . you can fine tune better. guys i always ran 64 outside and very rarely did i have a problem. try the RW spurs, they are machined instead of molded. very nice!

Look who's back. Man, it's been so normal without you around, Tagteam. j/k

Hey, all. We'll have tons of motors and batteries with us at Mimi's and the Frederick track in Maryland. Hopefully, Mimi will be taking a good amount of cells and motors for all to purchase through the store.

I'll be at the asphalt track in Frederick testing the FK05 and getting ready for asphalt season. I'll have motors and batteries there as well.
