Living up north in the rain forest, Seattle, I was hoping the "Weiss One"
would be giving us some setup info.

What exactly are you looking for? What the spacer is for?

the spacers are what is used to change the static camber. i would like to know what this does and why would i have to change it. ex: i have a 1mm spacer per kit instructions but the basic foam setup and many driver setups use 3 to 4mm spacers. what effect does this have on the car.

Edit - Those spacers / shims are to adjust/alter the roll center of the car; less shims = lower roll center, more shims = higher roll center. This is another tuning option for roll center along with the inside of the links and hinge pin mounts.

According to the T2 setup book it's the other way around. More shims = higher roll center, less shims = lower roll center.

The spacers only change the roll center. Static camber is changed by tuning the turnbuckle.

Wrong. Completely backwards.

to keep it simple...
more shims under the camber link frees the car up
less shims is more traction

I run 3 MM

Those are correct. Mo's explanation is good as well.

One last thing to note:

More shims = higher roll center & more camber gain (less overall traction, but may actually gain more side bite traction mid corner as the car is fully leaned over)

Less shims = lower roll center & less camber gain (more overall traction, but may actually lose side bite traction mid corner as the car is fully leaned over)
