Powering Castle Creations XL2 ESC's Fan and Motor Fan Shroud's Fan with 7.2V
Hi, I have just bought the CC XL2 and 2028 motor and intend to use it on my 5th scale truck. I got the fan shroud to cool the motor as well. My question is, with my external BEC, I will be supplying 7.2V to my receiver. So will the ESC and motor shroud fans be able to accept 7.2V? Have any of you guys have tried supplying 7.2V to the fans via the receiver? Not too sure about the ESC fan, but it's stated as DC 5V, 0.16A at the back of the motor fan shroud.
