the difference between a 6.5 and 21.5 on MY scale is 2.835 grams. that sliverr of lead would have to be placed on the outside of the lipo across from the motor to get the equal "swing balance. which I would think is more important then static balance. isn't it? heck I don't know, and I usually don't worry about it.

Another question: do the axles (not the bones, but the axle that sticks out of the bearing and has the hex on it) ever bend? I've got some wobble in my left front wheel, and it looks like the tip of the axle is wobbling, too. I should probably stop crashing it.

I haven't bent dogbones or axles, but that's not to say it can not happen. Take yours apart and see if you bent it. On my old car (TC5), when I had a wobbly wheel it was because I bent the rim, or the hub got play where the bearings mount.
Just got the new body support/shock tower and dual bellcrank in. I do like the body support shock tower. The dual bellcrank is very nice, however I have already shoegoo'ed my BLS551 servo to the chassis, so that will be a no-go. One must flip the servo 180º so that the arm is on the outside. I think I will end up buying another chassis and servo to test it out rather than undo the servo.

arm lenght vs handling
I have been using Kenny Lamberts base set up for tarmac and carpet. His set up uses the long rear arms with short fronts.
My question what affect does the length of the arms play in the handling. I see most setups use the short all way around.

I normally use short arms front and back and then use .5mm and 1mm shims on the hexes to adjust width. Because track changes as the day goes on.

I got to use both the new dual bellcrank and body post mount. The body was much more solid at high speed, and the bellcrank had close to perfect steering characteristics for my driving style.
The steering was buttery smooth, and the car would dive deeper into the corners and keep railing out with increasing steering. I was able to steer more proportionately in the corners rather than full lock to full lock. I did not play with the ackerman though, I left it on the the outer middle hole and front most hole on the bellcrank. Still lacked a touch overall cornerspeed, but I think I know the changes I have to make to make that progress.
