If the Quantum 2 performs anything like the old one I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole (atleast in stock)

I couldn't help but notice two things about Jonas TC3

1. He appears to be running harder springs in the back..in the rain....

2. That electronics cover looks like one of those cream-filled Hostess-brand cupcakes

I know hes using those Tamiya shocks

A white Tamiya spring is stiffer than a blue Tamiya spring

Hi do you tend to run alloy diffs in mod and if so would i get away with using one just on the rear as i usually run the back loose but this causes me to melt diffs almost every meeting
cheers John

Run metal diffs. They won't get crunchy and lock up.

Angry front out drive breakages...

Ive been racing now for about 1 /12 to 2 years. I normally race my tc3 on carpet with rubber tires. I love my car overall, as it handles very nuetral and so long as my old batteries can keep up, my racer kit tc3 can keep ahead of all the expensive X-rays, losi's and just about anything else on the track.
But here's the problem, my car has a real bad issue of snapping the front out drives. I run open diffs with a center one way. I have tryed taking the front plastic dog bones out and replaced them with steel ones. I have checked all the screws and all of them are nice and snug. There are no binds in the drivetrain, and I typically run iether stock or spec 19T, but with iether class I still have the same issues. I have 2 tc3's, and this issue was in my first car, so after replacing the whole front end, I bought a new racer kit and after a month the same issues came back. I'm completly stumped. Some times I do brush up against a wall, but a losi can hit it harder and still keep goind. Any insite will help. Oh yea....my new tc3 has gen 2 everything on it with no graphite what so ever.
