Use this clutch setup:
0.7 mm bell clearance
10.2 mm spring adjust (from the top of the crankshaft)
This setups is using the very hard spring, lightweight flywheel, grey clutch show and lightweight clutch shoes.
Be sure to get a Palmaris Conrod for the Engine.
PS: Let me know if you need a backup engine, I got a NIB one here that its up for sale.

What's the thickness of the shim behind the flywheel?
Also the conical under the flywheel can differ in size.......
This 10.2mm is not the same for everybody.......

What settings are you using on that NR carb? I just installed an RB carb on my new ZX12 for break-in and found that I needed to lean both screws quite a bit (especially the low speed) to get the engine up to temp. I know I will have to richen them up when I put the engine in the car but I am curious what you are using.
Thanks,

This is for Mugen MTX-3, Im pretty sure it changes for other car brands. This length is measured with a caliper from the top of the shaft (no screw) to the spring adjuster (the bottom part). If I aint mistaking, its about 1 to 1.2mm if you deduct the length of the crankshaft.

My engine is about 6 turns out on the low needle and about 5.5 on the high. This changes with every engine/fuel used. But maybe using a NR carb will work better for you.

JAG:
Mega Picco engines, doesn't need to have long breaking periods, after 5 tanks the engine is ready to the track. This engines doesn't have the pinch at TDC that Nova engines have. Remember to change the Conrod at least after 2 hours of used, if you doesn't punish it too much, if you like to run on the lean side, change at leat every hour.

Quiet::
One of the main differences betwen mega and nova is the thickness of the sleeve. MegaPicco have thicker sleeve what cause less expansion. The pinch on the Novas compesate de expansion of the sleeve.

Yes, they stopped the production, for the winter season.
MS and RB (who?) went to Picco Italy, to discuss updates (mostly on the reliability side) of the engines, in spring next year, there will be a ZX21 "evo2"
But don't tell this to anybody else. it's confidential.......
