Mating a FF03 with a TRF201?
After seeing this guy melt a M03 and a Kawada M300GT to make a twin motor Mini size car, I've been wanting to do something similar. I can't explain why, it's just something I really want to do.
Here's what I've been thinking. I was going to take a FF03, with the motor placed in front of the front axle, and then attach the rear gear box from a TRF201, with the motor hanging out the back behind the rear axle.
The reason for choosing the FF03 and TRF201 is the internal gearing is the same, so if I get the same motors and ESC then they should be a good match.
I'm thinking about how it may handle. With the M03/Kawada model, the motors are all between the front and rear axle which I'm thinking would help the handling somewhat. Now with my idea all the weight is in-front of and behind the axles. So I'm wondering it this thing is going to handle like a boat when cornering?
So what do you think?

Easier to make a dual motor TA03.

the M05+M06 looks like a good project
or convert a TL01 to M-chassis by chopping a few inches out of the chassis.

I have another friend who cut down a TT01 to M size. Used it for drifting and it worked pretty well.
