They have just added the addition EMS shipping service thou shipping is higher.
But DAMM they just re-adjust the pricing of the car kits !!!
Its way cheaper now !!

So that is pretty much spot on RCMart pricing when it was in stock. More expensive than Banzai & Stella were though - they were crazy cheap. No wonder they sold out before end of January.
I just did the maths after I got he charge from Fusion, I would have saved $36
Oh well. Stuff all in the grand scheme of things.

Mine are both sold and on hold for 1 week,
Im selling due to personal reasons, getting married and taking a break from RC so I made the decision to sell before a new version comes out...
But TRF drivers complaint I also have been struggling with... Pushing with Mod. My 17.5 Blink 418 is great... but I went to extremes to try to get the car to steer. Making very little progress with it and seeing how other chassis seem to handle traction changes during race weekend Ill think and other brands aswell when i return.
I am a TRF Tamiya guy and always will be....
Im selling due to personal reasons, getting married and taking a break from RC so I made the decision to sell before a new version comes out...

Yokomo seem to be one for the very few manufacturers that is actually pushing the twin-belt tourer design forward at the moment, the 418 is really nicely made but it's a shame that Tamiya chose to be a follower rather than a leader with the design.

How much thread lock do you guys use when building?
The last car I build with so much carbon/metal and metal/metal interfaces was a 1/8th has car. Used to need to use it EVERYWHERE!
And on threads, titanium v aluminium - thoughts? I notice the pros use a mix, but it's inconsistent where and when. I had been told the Aluminium ones are not as good when screw into metal and definite no go for al-al pieces. But plenty of builds I've looked at seem to buck that trend.
But also screws should be a fail (shear) point, so there must be some strategy to their use.
At the moment I've got enough Ti screw lying about to do the whole thing.

First race on the 418 Saturday. It felt stiff at first so I removed the top deck motor mount screw and it was way better. The chassis had more grip after without changing any other setup(stock settings from manual). Large parking lot track with 175' strait.
