I have recently got a second hand BD to play with, what are the recommended mod's for asphalt racing.

I take it the CGM steering mod is a good one to do. Do you still put hpi suspension parts on them and what the reason for doing this?

yokomo plastic spool = 11 grams

TIR ( fist generation spool/ with steel pins) 16 grams

i have the newer genertaion spool just not drive cups, as soon as i get some i will see how much the 2nd generation spool weights

thanks wat about the new yokomo blue spool? ive been running the tir spool just wondering if the new one was lighter..

give me a couple of hours and ill get it for you.... ( from personal experiance... i would not recomend using the alum spool)

how does he mount the yokomo steering knuckle on the HB hub? I try it but yokomo steering knuckle is too tall for the hub. Does he shorten the knuckle?
