Well you've just had bad luck. It's a great way to save money IMO. He's bashing not going to the worlds, does it matter if it's an old kit? As Lon as he doesn't get scammed I believe it would be better than driving a rtr that is brittle and low quality.

Yea I bought a savage about a week ago off craigslist he said the owb just went so I couldn't hear it run but I pulled the engine and checked for compression all was well so I bought it. The engine was way out of tune and still isn't right, and my steering is super weak so I put I high torque servo but that didn't do anything, I don't have a servo saver to adjust so I'm stumped.

Now I got it tuned good but the trans slips bad any adjustments I can make?

could be any of the following, clutch, slipper clutch, outdrive cups on trans, diffs, centre outdrive cups(grubscrew)
