Default Awesome product from Trinity!

I was just looking on Trinity's website and saw they had a bunch of new products they're releasing at the Hobby Visions show in Vegas next week. Well one of those products is amazing... "No Brainer" Body Post Markers! You'll never have to struggle trying to mark where exactly the holes in your body will go. For only 10 bucks, no r/c tool box should be without these.

Apparently they will work on any car with standard body posts.

I'm definitely buying a set .

Here is what it says on Trinity's website:

No set of R/C tools will be complete without these handy new body mounting accessories. Take all the guess work out of marking body mounting holes in you new painted body. Simply place these post caps on your body posts, position the body where you want it and push down. The "No Brainer" body post markers will dimple the body where you should drill your holes. No excuse anymore for misaligned bodies.... it's a no brainer! Markers fit most popular body post sizes.

TRI30003 - 'No Brainer' Body Post Markers - $9.99

I guess I'm the only one that cuts the body and drills all the holes before masking and painting.

I use my OTT-light(fluorescent lamp) under the body(this is of course on a painted body) and mark the bodypost if I get a body that hasn't been fitted before it's painted. Normally I just fit my bodies before I have them painted.

True corey, just slap that bad boy 2.0 on and Wham-O, body is now mounted! I like taking plus or minus 15 minutes to square up my body on the car. Oh and I use the very-fine sharpie tip to mark the dotz.

They do look interesting. Should make things alot easier. But what if lets say like with the Alfa 2.0 the rear window is so curved that you have to offset the posts to make them work? Get them to be straight that is.

Nice to see another fellow Sooner Fan. GO OU!!!!

Sorry guys...Trinity is not the first to make those body post markers. I've seen those somewhere before..most probably overseas mail order... and anodized in different colors.

They might keep the body from sliding around while you are aligning up the body to the car. I've never had a problem mounting bodies up with the regular body posts. CRASH, got too, that's my hometown.

I run a Tamiya and if you get the Tayima body shells they come pre marked for the holes,

it still seems like a good idea and may get a set

Yes, but that doesn't mean all the different cars on the market will line up with the pre-marked holes. For example if you run a Tamiya body on an XRay, the pre-marked dimples won't line up with the body posts.
