Everything is new, way too many parts for a conversion.

dont know...Im sure Specialized will get some cut for next years carpet season..Right now would be the time to have that 4mm chasiss. I run 4mm
chassis and top deck for three years on asplualt rubber tire and on carpet, its the the most consistant chassis I have ever run..I dont believe in chassis flex to make traction , thats what the SHOCKS are for...

Finally someone that appreciates the ability to tune suspension to gain grip instead of inconsistant flex.

Well, there's at least two Phi at the birds, probably more. Interesting looking front shocks on both cars.

Tamiya style..The car needs a shorter overall shock this time around , Corally will prob. have some by release date ..Lower shock towers=shorter shocks..
But I dont know anything..

by the looks of it.. with only the front shocks different this must mean that corally is going to release the car along with releasing a lowered front shock tower for carpet just the rdx did.. the phi looks way better just sitting there in the pic right next to the rdx.. i cant wiat

Has any body on here modified an rdx chasis to enable you to use tape to put cell in instead of the battery strap. Having problems with chasis tweak using the strap. Filed slots down as kept cutting into my batteries, since doding that cells were loose. So filed battery posts down and now strap is too tight which is causing tweak. I know that if you get comp spec chassis you can use tape but dont want to fork out £70 for new chassis when new car is out soon. If anybody has any pics of this mod coudl you post them on here please.

I was wondering the same thing but for now I will stick with what I have. I filed the slots just enough to take the edge off and allow the pack to sit a bit lower and the strap fits perfect.
I would replace the posts for the batery strap and just get some foam to attach to the bottom of the strap to help keep the batteries in place.

or you could put a washer under the body post.
