Gene, what brand shock oils do you use? Is it Mugen or something else?
So far the setup tips you guys gave me regarding bumpy rutted tracks sems to be working.
I am finding right now my clutch is too snappy, so I am going to try out the Mugen white teflon shoes with the black CEN kit springs, which I believe are the 1.0.

Lighter on LSD diffs.
I use KMW Racing CEN Matrix Threaded Shock bodies. Everything else on the shock is Cen.
I like Kyosho carbon shoes with gold or black springs. If I want a harder hitting clutch, I use the CEN red alum shoes. I use the CEN blue alum shoes on my TR Arena with gold springs.

I've tried the white mugen shoes on a couple different buggies and both times they did well until the car ran for an extended period and they would start to slip pretty bad.

If you run 2 carbon shoes and 1 red CEN alum shoe, they will start to grab better the more you run them. I have been running this set-up for the last year now.

I am running the 2 carbon shoes and 1 aluminum shoe on my OS VG engine with 1.1mm springs all around. Couldn't get the 1.0mm springs to last so I went with the 1.1mm Mugens and Cens. Works great. Will give it a teardown today to clean up for this saturdays race.
Going to be going with 80W gear oil in the front and rear diffs based on what Andrew from CEN told me yesterday until I can get the conversion in.

I TQ'd and won 1/8 Pro Buggy at round 2 of the RC Pro Series East Sunday. 
Also, Kyle Sokol, Travis Scrambling, Joey Perez, Tony Brown, and Justin Cranford all put their Cen's in the A-mains.

I am finding my car very unpredictable on the very rough and blown out track at which I race.
I have tried numerous setups and havent quite found one that is to my liking.
Currently I have #2s with losi 27.5 in the rear and #2s with losi 37.5 in the front. running 5-5-2 with Genes cross pins in aluminum diffs.
This setup seemed to work best for me, but I feel it is still lacking the ability to handle the rough stuff.
I have tried the CEN 30wt with #2s in front and #3s out back but found it to stiff.
What are you giys running for ride height for bumpy tracks, I have mine just above level both front and rear.
Front and rear shocks have no clips, just the spring spacer at the top, how are you able to get the car any lower? Without the spacer I find the car is to low, I guess sanding down the spacer would be the next option.
Stock blue springs all around. I was thinking about trying some Jammin reds, which seem to be working very well on the Jammin buggies at our track.

Use Mugen or Xray shock spacers to adjust ride height.
