Uhh, well, it's been a while since I've ran a Cadillac body, but I think it has more steering than the Stratus. But then again, which Stratus you talking about?

both bodies have great performance,
Stratus 3.1 have great down force and is fast on cornering and sweeper turns
Cadillac CTS have a lot of downforce is not so fast on cornering but in sweepers turns is fast.
for me stratus 3.1 best over all, cadillac 2ns alternative

A quicker summation:

Stratus 3.1 - Medium to large tracks with sweeping turns and medium to high traction

Cadillac CTS - Small to medium tracks with tight turns and medium to high traction

Is the Caddy ROAR legal? And how is the performance on a large sweeping track?

So for Gulfcoast Raceway....the CTS would be a better choice than the Stratus?

If the track has a lot of 180 degree turns, then yes, it would be a better choice. Most of us in Dallas run the Stratus at the big track (100'x250'). When I run at the club track (75'x130'), then would run the Cadillac over the Stratus because with my setup, the low-speed downforce of the Cadillac works better since the club track operator loves to put at least four 180 degree turns in the setup (a temp track in which more electric tourers show than nitro).

Where is this track located, Mobile or Pensacola? My mom lives in Gulfport and I will be down that way this coming weekend.

A good place in between the two would be the new Protoform DNA3.

Ya, I figured you would have recognized the name since you posted about missing the first race of the fall/winter series. Looks like we all may miss it if the weather keeps up.

So what body do you prefer on that track ?

I have used both and prefer the Stratus 3.1 with 45 shore front and 42 shore rear foams. When I ran the Cadillac CTS, I had to run 42 shore front and 40 shore rear foams in order to get that body to work to my liking. Of course, with the softer rear foams, tires wore quicker (ie: had to use a couple extra pair of rears). On that track with many of its tight turn, you would figure the CTS to run better but I have had better luck with the Stratus, the aforementioned tires used with the Stratus, and a slight gear down of the car.
