We use local radio for our "music on hold" here at Stormer Hobbies. Lot of people think it's pretty wild and interesting, so we roll with it. You're gonna hear hog report, wheat production numbers, random Elvis songs, various top 40, and typical small town radio. I want to say one time a customer was listening to the "tradio" show (show where local people call in to sell things), and he heard something he was interested in, hung up on us and called the lady back, bought the item and she shipped it to him. Some kind of antique jug/plate farm-thingy you can't find in Florida. He called back to tell us about it, and order a car. ...lol...
Hopefully though, you never get to hear it and we get you handled FAST!

Last weekend there was a great race event on the high speed/high traction MAC de Baanbrekers track in Rucphen in the Netherlands.
Both Pro10 modified & Pro10 stock 10.5 were driven and both very succesfully! It was a great event where we had lots of fun and racing excitement...

Hello, would there be any footage of the racing action on the net? Have always been interested in this class. Thanks.

Here are a few pictures of the event but these are mostly from the pro10 stock class taken by me and another driver. I am sure that when the other pictures from pro10 modified (rc-lemans) etc have been put online there will be a link to it as well. Altogether there were 35 pancars at the event. http://s493.photobucket.com/user/2wd...Benelux%202013

We are going to run 200 or 235 pan cars with 10.5 and 2 cell lipo's at the Heart of America series race Aug 10/11 in Lincoln Nebraska. We have 3 commited cars alread and based on the track prep prior to the race it should be a great time running oustide on the pavement.
Track is 200' x 100' with 12' drivers stand. There is some on site electical, but most use generators. Hotel costs are reasonalbe in $55 - $70, plus a solid group of electric touring, 1/8 4wd open, 1/8 nitro GT8 and 1/10 nitro cars.
PM me for any questions.

Can it be....Is it wishfull thinking that this class is finally going to get big state side??
I sure hope so for you all as it is a great class to drive in.
We Europeans do it all the time.
10.5 is run in the Netherlands and the Germans run Mod 235 cars.
Most on the bigger nitro tracks.

Awsome to hear that someone is talking about pro 10 other than the group at camarillo roadrunners in ca. They run 1s 10.5 boosted 235 mm cars . They usually have a good field of 7-12 guys. Most are fast but not all. Its great to drive these cars .I have been racing since ghe 80s and pan cars are the best . I am gonna talk to some calj guys and see if its a possibility to venture out that way . Have to rent a generator though . And maybe borrow a canopy since we would be flying in .

Thanks for the hospitality . I will let you know asap if its gonna happen . We race twice a month and I'm sure you remember how stupid fast they are . We are only 1-2 tenths off the tc open lap times and we only run 1s 10.5 . The open tc class rims 2s with 3.5 motors usually . I will get the word out also .
Take care

@Grenade.....You need 40SH or perhaps 45SH front tires,30 or 35SH rear,TC5 fluid or Mobers(speedtech) and if track is dusty use sun lotion factor 50 on the rear.
When using the TC5 fluid, let it soak in for a long while.
The longer the better or use tire warmers
Start on a short track with a roll out of 38 and work your way up.
Dunno if you guys run boosted or not?
If so, try it with only boost and no turbo.
This way you won't get the kick in of the turbo at the wrong point on the track.
If it is a fast flowing track, you could use turbo with less timing to keep the motor cooler.

We had 8-10 of us runnig this up through 2010, but with the loss of the nitro track in Denver, it just went away. I still have all my stuff, so with another racer started talking about getting it going again.

But I've run 235 on foams since the 80's and have done sauce and then sun tan lotion. I've get my tires pretty set and the last time I ran this, I was running a Tekin in Dual mode to keep the heat down. Car likes to be a little over geared to keep the back from coming around with that much power.
Now if I had not sold 30 plus bodies back a year or two ....... JK kept the ones that I really like. May have to back pour and pull a few if this gets some traction.
I'll find a picture of the track - was site of the ROAR On Road Nitro Nationals in 2010

If you want downforce all the way, use the HMS or Sauber body with a gurney.
You have to gear down a bit tho as they have a lot of drag due to the high downforce.
Sauber C11 http://hk-modellbau.com/default.asp?...635&kat_id=170 or http://www.rc-bodies.de/shop/product...products_id=33
HMS body http://www.rc-bodies.de/shop/product...products_id=32
On low grip i normally use the Nissan P35 but i am going to try the Sauber next and my team mate used the HMS on a high speed track but said it had to much downforce there to use it
