R2, would you care to share any chassis setup settings to make it run well?
My Kit arrived today! It was packaged very nicely and was a joy to open. I quickly set up and took pictures as I opened, I hope you enjoy it.
Nice Box art
Main chassis, body, manuals and accessory parts in the top layer
Main chassis
Wheels, rubber and decals sheets on bottom layer
All the parts in the 80% kit
Back end
Front End
Motor Mount
Lots of caster either 10 or 12 degrees, I don't know yet
Lots of crazy toe out too LOL
Phantom car
Compared to my GT8-Lite

Set up wise, I have nothing for you other than dropping some Sweep tires on the car. I ran the rtr out of the box right from the box and just did a screw check and put serrated lock nuts on, so my car still has the oils they put into the car the first time, it was a little pushy but very manageable and drove very well. If you putting some high power and launching down the street then out of the box will be fine, just remember to look after the car because high speed wears thing down fast, some lithium grease on those dog bones will help out a whole lot or you going to getting some replacement parts soon. But this car as you have already spun the tires of the ground spins pretty free and after a couple of runs will feel great, you love disengaging the pinion just to feel the free spin, I know I do but I can easily do that with my nitro buggy.

I was just concerned as out of the box it looked to have what looked like ~10 degrees of toe out, and the shock preload (or lack of) allowed the chassis plate to sit very near to the ground. Looks like it's time to get a Set-up Station.
You are so right on the near frictionless rolling drive train. I was amazed at how smoothly and effortlessly it rolled and spun up. I will be sure to lithium lube the dog bone joints as you recommend.
I do have a few sets of new Sweep 45D and will certainly try them out. The Kit Ofna wheels don't seem to be belted either so I will tape them and glue them up just to try.
I will be sure to maintain the car as I do all my other RC's toys... Most of them, for some reason or another have insane over spec power plants from my cars to airplanes
I received a few more parts for my builds today.... For the X3 the Tekin RX8 /2650kv power system
In case nobody seen these before

Got hands on a Xe GT kit today and some of the tuning parts.
First ispection of the kit and the parts did create two questions somebody might be able to answer.
First surprise was that the tires are not belted. Has anybody used them ? Do they tend to blow up at higer speeds ?
The Suspension Bracket R/R 7075 CNC, part No. 504285 (Hongnor) does not fit. The part sliding underneath the diff case is 3.3 mm obove the bottom surface, same as the holes to mount it to the diff. Mistake in manufacturing or wrong part ?
Anny suggestions apreciated.

Sorry, I can't say about the tires, however I suspect they will balloon depending on your power system chosen. You could just tape them with duct tape before mounting, which is what I plan to do. This helps a lo, I do it to all my other RC cars and trucks.
I have sweeps that I plan to run, but I do want to use the kit tires as well.
Good to know that Hong nor part #504285 doesn't fit, I'll avoid it then

Thanks for the info.
Now I am going to add this to my collection of Inferno GT2 and Serpent GTE
and see how this holds ups up on track.
Just have to find a realistic scale body then this Batmobile looking thing.
