Default MBX5 (MSR Conversion) w/ MBX6 BB Shocks

Hey guys, I tried installing my MBX-6 Big Bore shocks on my MBX-5 MSR Truggy conversion, I'm using all the MBX-6 posts and stuff, the rear ones fit awesome, feels great, but the front X6 shocks are too long, I can't get as much travel as the stock ones and the clearence is massive, I can't get it low enough and the shocks bottom out quickly, I believe the MBX5 shafts are the same as the MBX6 so that's not an option, any ideas? thanks.

The old MSR conversion for the MBX5 buggy used the original "shorter" MBX5 shocks. The MBX5R has the longer MBX5T shocks and used a different front shock tower. So I'm guessing to make it work you'll need to replace your MBX5 front shock tower with a MBX5R front shock tower. You may also need to add some spacers up top to the standoffs.

Oh I see, I´ll look for a tower on ebay, will a King Headz or an aftermarket work? or they´re the same size as the original MBX5 tower? thanks Tony!

Edit: will any of these work?

The racers edge one seems taller
