Hell I want my Slash back.
Would you mind sharing where you're at with the Tekin settings? Would really appreciate it! I'm getting close but get such little track time at Bumps. I have the 212 software, but the Duo2 and a XXX-SCT .. I just get such little time at the track, especially bumps.

You running any endbell timing? I saw some setups had a small amount of endbell timing - I guess to help from the 0-5k or so RPM range - and then the ESC boost kicks in to add from that start range through 20k or so. And then it seems you're supposed to set the timing (though it's ignored in sensored mode) to 100 percent in the event the sensor wire comes off. That way you can keep running and not go into limp mode..

This is what i ran my tekin at:
timing profile c1 or c2
forward only
sensored only
push control off
reverse speed 0
neutral width 3
throttle min. 10 (higher#= more punch)
advance 0 (if a sensor wire comes off you will know it right away)
boost 50* end rpm 18,000
start rpm i think was 5,280 (5,000-5,500)
turbo 0
mechanical timing +8* (duo 2 timing marks are in 4* increments)
Gear at or around 84/20-21 for xxx(2.43:1) and 81/21(2.6:1)
should come off around 110* in 10 min. main.

Hey you have my permission to put your ads on my thread. I'm not going to wine or cry about it. Actually, it promotes the hobby! So, if your that upset about promoting it and you feel threatened then remove it. Actually the name was a track here in the 80's, in fact that might just be where the name came from........huh Not intended to take racers, just let them know about a track here in pa.

Use Mikes settings. I don't know much about 212 other than I have it on my computer incase someone needs it. I don't know exactly how everything kicks in on the Tekin yet. Timing Profile I had Frank at 3 because I didn't know what the others actually changed. I need to go onto Tekins site and do some reading.

My RPM range on Fransk is very close to what Mike posted so at least I was close one something. For a non Tekin user I had Franks truck pretty good and that was with my Viper motor in. He is going to put in a Duo3.
