Default V one RR vs TG10R

Dunno which car to get. Anyone here has their views on which is the better performing car?

both r pretty gd cars,...ang i believe the price different is abt $70...
i think it will come 2 a point on wat u intend 2 do,...if it's races tat u r after,then i suggest the tg10r as tat way,u can take part in tamiya races and open races as well,...

TG 10R is better in the sense that you don't need to modify anything. The kit come with graphite top, 2 speed, full bearing.
Of course, you can join Tamiya race as well as open.

hmm...

me 2 thinking of nitro conversion.....but im in a delima between a TGR and V1RR......dunno if taising got support the TGR a not....

Q: does the crowd at the east coast PA play mostly 1/8 or 1/10?

How come i hear the TGR is not a TRUE 1/8 car and cant join 1/8 touring races har?

Tamiya uses "true" 1/8 scale...others are "approx" 1/8 scale.....Tamiya will be a little smaller!!

so it really cannot join 1/8 touring races?

anyway, i dont think it can go that fast right?...being able to use only side exhaust and all....

just a thought, the TG10R can only use side exhaust....doesent that make it that less Competitive?

How can TGR go for 1/8 race.

Scale is 1/8 but the engine is 15 size maximum. Whether side or
rear exhaust is still lose lah.


Pure 1/8 on road is using 21 engine.

A .21 engine can be bolted onto teh TGR w/o much problems actually... Just that the manifold layout would be a bit tricky.. U'll need 2 manifolds in order to link up with the pipe!
