And that's the way the cookie crumbles

Suggestion : Race off-road & on-road you get way more track time!!

I didn't see anything in that post about sway bars, but I guess I will assume no sway bars for stock, how about mod?

Who knows...

Tuesdays are hot right now, but with the increasing turnout, getting out of there so late on a weeknight and then having to go to work the next day is turning into a real drag. Both "The Track at Withrop Harbor" (Saturdays) and RC Performance (Madison - Sundays) are worthy alternatives if you don't mind driving a few extra miles.
that means its time to move the dirt on the carpet

Would a budget priced Trans Am package from say HPI (plasticy Cyclone) or Tamiya (carbon fiber-free TA05) take off like short course trucks have?

Good question....in the past, we have run our Thursday program on Wednesday, and just skipped the Friday night program.

What we need, is for Traxxas to roll out a VTA RTR package with the same price point and size of the Slash. Now this would be a shot in the arm for on road racing.

Default 1st timer

Was my 1st time out to Trackside today. Nice place, friendly people who helped me out with some set-ups. Ran the SC10 hard early and pulverized a steering servo (wall--oops). Relatively tight on the dirt. Must be some banging going on during race days.

Also, that is one large carpet track. I can see why some of off-road guys want to see the areas swapped. SCT trucks are hot right now. That is one reason I purchased one of them 2 months ago. Just my 2 cents.

Looks like I will make it tomorrow night, see if I can still run on the carpet. See you all there
