What about final drive what do u guys think about it I'll be running on a 100x70 asphalt track. Like I said I'm running 96/35 but I ordered a 33 so I'll be at 2.9 with 96/33. Also I'll be running a Reedy Sonic Mach 2 21.5.

One last thing on the plates. Clean them with motorspray first to remove any oil or corrosion inhibitor.

What size diff balls go into a kimbrough spur gear? Also does a smaller spur gear help in a F1 car or it doesn't matter but as long as the FDR are the same?

When using a smaller spur the motor moves towards the rear axle and this can provide more rear grip.

ok i ordered a 88t but whats a good FDR thats going to keep motor temps low with a 21.5 reedy mach 2???

I've only been using a speedpassion V3 21.5T motor with a 93T spur/32T pinion combo on a large (30mx12m) indoor carpet track and the motor temps never get above 55°C after a long 10 or 15 minutes driving.

I have a Tamiya F104v2 with your +3mm rims for shimizu tires. Does this combo meets ROAR's max width for F1 class?

If roar's max width is 190mm and your car rolls through the tech box it's legal. I know the r sector kit made some cars illegal because the tire sidewalls would drag on the sides of the tech box. Or running too much camber caused some cars to fail tech inspection.

Pretty sure I remember reading the exotek wheels where designed with this in mind and make the the f104 186mm wide so you can add shims and/or camber and still roll through a 190mm tech box.

I have been having this issue as well, but with RIDE R1 tyres. so far, i was suggested to get the Exotek flex chassis as a possible solution, or widen the rear pod links. But i can't confirm if either of those work.

I have the Rsector kit to make the f1 190mm but how good is the hop up uprights in the picture and what are the advantages. Also how many spacers would I need to get the front to 190mm cause the rear is at 190mm with Rsector kit.

If you have rsector front aluminum uprights run those, I actually like rsector's front uprights better than Tamiya's. They seem to have less play than Tamiya's, I have both Tamiya and Rsector front uprights

yeah but tamiyas are adjustable the rsectors are not. Performance wise are the tamiyas worth it as an adjustment?

I thought your were asking which one of these 2 was better. Only adjustment missing from rsector is trailing position on upright shaft and at our track not many people run trailing. To me, it makes car harder to drive. As far strickly improving performance over stock, not to sure but maybe some of the UF1 racers in california might chime in with more information. But I would definitely get Tamiya carbon reinforced uprights over stock, durability.
