Default What's the deal with Associated?

Just about every car and part is out of stock. I was wanting to pick up a FT B4 to add a second class to the race weekend but it is not available. Anyone have credible info about when the kits will be available again? So far the Thunder Tiger purchase of AE pretty much sucks.

A new car? Rumored by who? First I've ever heard of that, and I'm online everyday. I know that AE does run out of kits sometimes though. A while back they were out of T4 FT kits a while ago because they were out of one part to build the kits.

So posting on a forum like this is going to make them get parts out any faster? Good things come to those who wait.

I'm no mind reader, but I just figured Dr huhuhuhuhuhufuhuhuhfuhufhufh was hoping someone could tell him when he could expect to be able to purchase a kit.

im not trying to say they have a new car or truck coming, but my local hooby shop has mentioned that they are working on something new. It could be just a newer team kit, or is could be a whole new car. Speculation without facts is pointless, so im sorry i even mentioned it.

Well I suppose its possible. I know the supplier at the LHS here has had team kits on backorder for at least a month now. That would be cool to see an update to the kit though. I'd like to see a full option car with the plastic chassis, and no tires.

I don't run Nitro but apparently many were waiting for the release of the new GT for Christmas... which obviously didn't happen. So if ever there is a new and "serious" kit that is about to be released its more than likely the GT.

Yes, AE seems to be on a parts shortage as of late. Just ask Jason over at JConcepts and the long list of potential buyers of their BJ4-WE Kit about a parts shortage from AE. Not sure Thunder Tiger is to blame... but if not them then who?!

They've announced updated versions of the B4 and T4 rtrs, probably stuffing all the parts they have into building up those kits.

The F/T kits other items are out of stock due to lack of parts supply from outside vendors. Shock bodies are a major issue. This also is affecting the release of the BJ4 Worlds Edition. J-Concepts can't get parts from AE because AE is out. Hope this helps with rumor control.

They both leak...
Why doesn't one (or both) of them put bladders in and be done with it.
