What do you use to mount the shocks to the tower and the arms?? do you mount them the same way as the factory xray shocks??

Use the Xray bottom shock ends and spring retainer cups. And you can use the tamiya or xray upper plastic part in the cap, depending on what way you want

You can't use the xray cap (or cap insert) with the Tamiya shocks. (at least not the ones from the plastic shocks, not sure on the aluminum if those are different). You will want to buy 84013 for the upper mounts.

Blackedoutrevo:

I'm using the exact black tamiya shocks on my t2 009 EU and didn't do any modification to it anymore. Looks good but performs better

you could also buy it from rcmushroom.

this is how it looks like

The blacked out Tamiya stuff is really cool. There was a local guy selling a TA05 fully upgraded with black Tamiya parts. It was really subtle and stealthy.

Good luck with your shocks.
